• Gay "Rights": Another Nail In The Coffin

    by Tom Wacaster

Slowly but surely the coffin is being nailed closed for the Western world in general, and the United States more specifically. The front page of the December 7th issue of the Fort Worth Star Telegram provided the following item: "Foreign aid to promote gay rights." Reading further, "The United States will being using U.S. foreign aid to promote gay rights abroad, Obama administration officials said Tuesday. President Barack Obama issued a memorandum directing U.S. agencies to look for ways to combat efforts by foreign governments to criminalize homosexuality." This "memorandum" is one more nail in the coffin that will bury the United States in the ashes of nations that have traveled the same path of moral indecency to their own destruction. Sodom and Gomorah "are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire" (Jude 7). And example of what? These two cities serve as an example of the eternal truth that God will not allow a city to stand when once it has embraced the practice of homosexuality. If a nation (which is simply a collection of a number cities) embraces the practice, it can only spell disaster for the nation as a whole. In just under three years this President has done more to advance homosexuality as some kind of legitimate behavior than any leader in the history of our country. He has openly proclaimed that he is a "friend" to the LGBT movement. He has appointed more homosexual personal to positions of authority on his staff than any President before him. He has dismantled any and every law or ordinance forbidding the vile practice in the military. He and the liberal left have shoved this immoral life style down the throats of American people, and now he seeks to push this social agenda down the throats of other countries as well, all in the name of "gay rights." The most deceptive thing about the effort to advance homosexuality is that it is being done under the banner of "rights." The protection of human "rights" sounds like a noble gesture, does it not? After all, who in their right mind would oppose human beings their God-given rights. In fact, Obama's "remarks" were delivered "in Geneva in connection with International Human Rights Day, set for Saturday" (FW Star Telegram article). But you must understand that when the liberal left and the immoral element in our society speak of "gay rights" they are referring to the "right" to practice homosexuality without any reprisal whatsoever. In short, the agenda is designed to advance the rights of homosexuals to practice homosexuality openly, without so much as whimper from those who would oppose the practice! While I may disagree with the lack of respect for human freedom in such nations as Pakistan or Saudi Arabia, it is refreshing to know that there are some nations that still recognize that homosexuality is something immoral and vile, and that it runs contrary to human nature itself. In that respect, those nations stand head and shoulders above the western world. How ironic. In the words of Republican candidate Rick Perry, "This administration's war on traditional American values must stop!" More importantly, however, is the undeniable truth that this administration's war on God will only lead to defeat, and all those who support, provide assistance to, or in any way play a part in the advancement of such immoral social behavior will go down in defeat with them. Mr. Obama may think he can intimidate other nations into accepting such immoral behavior. He may be able to brow-beat, threaten, boycott, or "sanction" nations who do not comply with his own little personal likes or dislikes, but he will, at the same time, find himself fighting with God. In the end, he will lose. Unfortunately, he will in the process destroy the nation as well.
